Kapp Surgical Instruments offers the McCarthy Mini-Sternotomy Retractor with Universal Lift, a self-retaining
retractor that provides excellent exposure for a variety of
valve operations, Maze procedures, or other intra cardiac
procedures. It can be used for coronary artery bypass operations or for mini-sternotomy procedures depending upon the
patient’s size. The removable lift attachment allows for better
exposure for valve procedures.
Pano-Vac Surgical Instruments announces the launch of its
new products that are useful in general surgeries and dentistry,
RetractorPlus and AspiratorPlus. The Pano-Vac retractor/aspira-tor was designed to facilitate the surgical field operation with
ease. This new instrument virtually eliminates the need for a
additional suction device during operations in which retraction
and suction are required.
gSource introduced the gS 40.3150 gRetractor
Abramsohn 5 1/2 inches. Crafted from German
stainless steel, the retractor features include
rounded, cross-serrated outside working ends with
3mm–30mm calibrations marked on the ratchet.
This rectractor can be helpful to expose the bone
for better access and useful in facilitating a lateral
release during bunionectomy procedures.
Port-Free Endocavity Retractor
Virtual Ports has launched the EndoLift Port-Free Endocavity Retractor,
specifically designed to provide retraction of larger soft tissue structures, such
as the liver, from within the body cavity, eliminating 1-2 ports (trocars). This
small profile Retractor enables surgeons to reduce the number of ports (
trocars), incisions, and personnel needed during laparoscopic surgery.
