Powder-Free Latex Exam Glove
Adenna Explorer is an 8 mil thick, 9½ inch long, powder-free latex exam
glove designed to provide extra protection and stronger resistance to wear
and tear on the job. The glove fingers are almost double in thickness when
compared to regular exam gloves. The Explorer glove has little or no chlorine scent, appears in white natural latex color and provides an excellent
grip as a result of our advanced single chlorinated process. Now available
in size XS to XL.
Non-Latex Antimicrobial Surgical Glove
Ansell launched the GAMMEX Non-Latex Antimicrobial surgical glove. This glove
combines allergy and antimicrobial protection for healthcare workers in Canada,
especially in the case of intraoperative glove breaches. The glove’s proprietary antimicrobial chlorhexidine gluconate (CHG) coating is effective against 99 percent of the
Hepatitis C virus, HIV-1 strain Mn and six common infectious bacteria, including
drug-resistant MRSA2. This protects the healthcare worker against bacterial transmission, which occurs in half of glove breaches resulting from normal wear.
Cardinal Health offers “blue” double-gloving systems in support of safety initiatives. The system includes a “blue” foundation with a light-colored overglove. The
company's undergloves - Protexis PI Blue with Neu-Thera and Protexis Latex Blue with
Neu-Thera Surgical Gloves - are powder-free, available in synthetic polyisoprene (PI)
and natural rubber latex (latex), and are blue in color. In addition, these undergloves are

Medline offers a latex, powder-free glove, the Signature Glide. The glove’s
exterior is designed for control and tactile sensitivity while the inside is made
of hydrophilic synthetic polymer, an inner gel coating. The design includes a
slightly widened palm and reinforced cuff to reduce roll down and tearing.
