FloShield, from Minimally
Invasive Devices, Inc. is an
solution in maintaining
laparoscopic visual clarity.
FloShield facilitates a consistent, clear image during
surgery while virtually eliminating the need to remove the
scope from the patient’s body.
The FloShield Plus system
addresses a critical unsolved prob-
lem in laparoscopic visualization:
debris and condensation settling on
the end of the scope that obscures vision and requires frequent inter-
ruptions for scope removal and manual cleaning. The comprehensive
FloShield system is built around two technologies:
• Vortex Barrier Technology, a sheath-enabled design that provides a
protective CO2 barrier over the laparoscopic lens that shields it from
condensation, debris, and smoke.
• Flo-X in situ, a biocompatible, flushing surfactant that is utilized
intraoperatively to clean the lens without removing it from the patient.

The Quantum Shoulder
Positioning System "Beach
Chair" features fast no-lift
mounting and setup. Simply
roll it up and pop in two pins.
Removal is equally effortless. It
also features powered patient
elevation and instant, rigid
patient fixation for the entire
case, with superior site access.

Mölnlycke Health Care's BARRIER Easy Warm from active
self-warming blanket has 12 air-activated warming pads consisting
of 100 percent natural material such as active coal, clay, salt, water,
and iron powder. The blanket maintains an average temperature of
44 degrees Celsius for up to 10 hours, raising skin temperature to a
maximum of 42 degrees Celsius. Quick and easy to set up, the blanket
can be used before, during and after surgery as it does not need any
additional equipment such as fans or hoses of electricity.
The Tibial Distractor
simplifies tibial surgical procedures
rotation for axial
need for a second
pair of hands, reducing radiation exposure
to an assistant and the
surgeon. The IMP solution also
eliminates lengthy, fracture table set-up time and is autoclavable for
multiple cases. For use with intramedullary nailing, plating, and bone
grafting, IMP’s positioner aids in tibial nailing. The Tibial Distractor’s
Sterile Protective Pads are latex-free, foam pads that protect the patient
from skin irritation, pressure sores and possible neurological damage.
The pads are also compatible with the De Mayo Steri-Post.
Clinimed's unique concave blade design, originally
implemented on the company's Lipo-Abdominoplasty
retractor, is utilized on its new breast retractor. This
new retractor design allows the user to apply force in
either a PUSH (reduction procedures) or PULL (aug-
mentation procedures) motion. The concave blade
is enhanced by horizontal deep “serrations,” which
enhance stability when lifting. The unique design
continues to the handle, where Clinimed's engineers
implemented a large ovoid “geometry” design to
improve grip strength. The handle is also the differen-
tiating point between the two sizes.
